The candles flicker. A rough hand pushes a map across the table. An old man with scars on his face leans forward.

“Every path begins with a decision. Not the king on his throne, not the mage in his tower – no. You. You decide who you are.”

He taps six locations on the map.

🗡️ Sir Aldric of Weihenstein – A young squire from Aldarien, on his way to knighthood. Honorable, inexperienced, but full of idealism. A trial awaits him in Kronfels.

🪓 Sigrid Ironsong – A Northgardian warrior and shield-maiden. Her clan was banished by a Thing – she seeks proof of her innocence or revenge on those who betrayed her.

🌿 Faelorn Moonsinger – A Silverwood elf and exiled chronicler. He possesses forbidden knowledge about the Shadow Realm and is hunted by moon-council and shadow alike.

⛏️ Durga Ironheart – A dwarven rune-smith from Kazad-Hammar. She has broken a taboo – the combination of dwarven runes and magical gemstones – and must now flee from the King's Council.

✨ Neria Flame-script – A young elementalist of the Arcane Convent. Her magic is unpredictably strong, but the Tower of Arcanis wants to control her. She dreams of freedom.

🗝️ Brasric – A cunning thief and shadow-runner in Port Silaris. He knows the alleys, the secrets, and the false friends. But one last heist could lead him to his doom – or make him the richest man in the merchant republic.
