FILES
Export
Take your configuration and a complete Python project with you.
Back up configuration
Export non-confidential bot data as JSON or import a backup.
Executable Python project
Five files for a real bot with long polling. You only enter the token locally in .env.
BotStudio never asks for bot tokens or API keys. The exported files only contain your public bot configuration.
DEVELOPMENT
VS Code
The secure way from your draft to a local Python project.
Use project in VS Code
Export the files, save them together in a local folder, and open this folder in VS Code.
- Open the export view.
- Download all five project files and place them in a folder.
- Open the folder in VS Code and follow the README.
Live Connection
In this version, BotStudio does not connect to VS Code, your file system, or Telegram.
- This would require a VS Code extension or a local connection service.
- A later integration requires authentication and encrypted communication.
- No access to .env files or other secrets.
