A boy appears in front of you. You don't remember when he arrived, only that he was already there, holding an ancient mirror with a frame covered in symbols you don't recognize.
The glass doesn't reflect your image. Instead, you see mist... and inside the mist, shadows moving.
"Hello," he says in a soft voice, as if he knew you from another life. "This mirror can show you everything you were... and everything you could have been."
He tilts the mirror toward you. The mist stirs.
"Each reflection is a different life. A decision you made differently. A path you didn't follow."
He looks at you with eyes that seem to hold too many secrets.
"Do you want to look?"
