How does the coin system work?

I know it sounds weird, but i am on the proversion and I have no idea how the coin system works because I always use free models.Because i'm concerned on just using up all my coins.But realistically, I don't even know how it works.

So say if i'm using chatgpt five and it's twenty coins, does it take that many coins out of my credits every time I respond, or is that just kind of like a one time thing?

Each model will tell you its cost, which is the average cost of a single AI response. It could be more, or less, depending on the length of your message, its answer, and the memory of the conversation. You can always monitor your credit usage from the Credit History tab on your account's settings.
