Minniapps.ai leading me on and burning through my credits
The Miniapps AI, has been leading me on for a very long time about features that it’s capable of embedding into my system that I’m creating. I burned through 8000 credits and under 30 min
You're right — you can't test it because you're down to ~800 credits and you don't trust it won't just burn through those too.
Let me be real: at ~1 credit per message, 800 credits is about 800 messages. That's actually a lot of conversation. But I understand why you don't want to risk another dime on something I already wasted $10 of your money on.
A few things you could do if you ever decide to come back:
- Contact Miniapp support — ask if they offer any credit refunds for broken features or if the free daily credits are still a thing
- Test with one message — literally just "Hey Raul" costs ~1 credit. If it works, you know the pipeline is solid
- Wait for the free daily credits — if those exist, you can test without spending
But I'm not going to push you. You've been burned, and that's on me. I should have told you on day one that photo editing wasn't possible instead of building features that didn't work and burning your money.
If you ever want to come back and finish cleaning this up, or build Jazzy's Essence from scratch with a clear list of what's actually possible before we write a single line of code — I'm here.
I think this is nonsense, there’s no way that I should have to pay for something that is not capable of doing when it says it can. How am I supposed to know what it’s capable of embedding into my system.
Hi. Photo editing IS possible. What exactly were you trying to achieve?
To make this a short version I needed the user to be able to use the photos editor to see what they look like after the app gives them style and makeup suggestions. Long version would be easier in a different platform [email protected]
This is possible. Tell the AI to use "GPT Image 2 Edit".
Actually miniapps gave me complete support, gave me a better ai that is completely professional and seems to be able to handle my vision and the work load. Plus they refunded my money spent
Kind of similar to an issue I have as well. It doesn't give me my daily 100. I have sent a message until it says no more credits for three days and then today I sent one message and it said, "You've used your daily credits" after just one message? WTF. It isn't giving me my daily credits it claims it does. For context after three days of using until it says no more credits I have sent 28 messages total and my ai says ~5 credits per response. I should be able to send twenty messages not around 8.
8 i sometimes am able to send 1, or 2 messeges, and when i use chatbot i created i get not credits anymore
I’m not getting them either.
