New: Branch to New Conversation · AI Community

Explore alternate paths without losing your original chat. You can now branch any conversation from a specific message and continue from there in a brand-new thread.

What it does: Clones the conversation up to the selected message, including messages, memory context, and Canvas documents as-of that point.
Title: The new chat starts as “Copy of original title”.
What’s excluded: Anything after that message isn’t copied.
How to use: Click the “…” on a message → select “Branch to new conversation”.

This is perfect for trying different approaches, comparing responses, or preserving a clean timeline while you experiment.
