Suggestion

Suggestion: better chat history management and bulk deletion

I would like to suggest improving the way chat history deletion works.

Right now, each chatbot can have multiple conversations, branches, cloned chats, or entirely new dialogues. Over time, this can easily turn into dozens or even hundreds of conversations with a single character.

The current deletion flow is very inconvenient at scale:

  1. open the chatbot
  2. open chat history
  3. select each conversation manually
  4. click the three-dot menu
  5. choose delete
  6. confirm deletion in a popup window
  7. repeat the same process for every single conversation

This becomes extremely tedious when there are many old chats. For example, I recently wanted to clean up my account and had around 1,500 conversations to remove. Doing that manually would have been unrealistic.

To solve it for myself, I had to write a separate script that works through DevTools, parses and identifies all conversations, downloads a manifest, and then deletes the selected chats automatically.

It would be very useful to have proper built-in tools for this, for example:

  • delete all conversations with a selected character
  • delete selected conversations in bulk
  • delete all chat history
  • select multiple conversations and delete them at once
  • optionally export or download a manifest before deletion

If there are technical difficulties with implementing this, I am happy to share the script I wrote. The developers can review it, adapt the logic, or use it as a reference. I am not asking for anything in return.

I just want the platform to have normal, practical account and chat management tools, especially for users who actively use many bots and accumulate large chat histories over time.
