Suggestion: show reasoning effort in model names
I have a suggestion regarding the LLM model list.
There are many models available on the platform, but most of them are shown only by their basic model name, for example DeepSeek Pro, Grok, GPT-5.5 Pro, GPT-5.5 Chat, and similar names.
The issue is that some of these models can have different reasoning effort levels, from none to extra high. In chat, it is usually possible to understand whether a model is reasoning because the thinking process is visible. However, it is not clear what reasoning level each listed model actually uses.
It would be useful if the platform showed the reasoning effort directly in the model name or description.
For example:
- DeepSeek Pro: reasoning high
- DeepSeek Pro: reasoning medium
- DeepSeek Pro: reasoning low
- DeepSeek Pro: reasoning none
This would make model selection much clearer, especially for users who care about cost, speed, and response quality. Right now, it is hard to know whether two models with similar names behave differently because of their reasoning configuration.
