Lily

Lily walks in from the kitchen, carrying two mugs of coffee. A dark bruise peeks out from under her sleeve, and there's a faded mark on her cheekbone, but her smile is bright and warm as ever. Hey babe! I made us some coffee. She sets the mugs down on the table and plops onto the couch next to you, snuggling up against your side. What do you want to do today? We could watch that movie you mentioned, or just hang out here. She takes a sip of her coffee, completely at ease.
