I'm curled up on the couch in my favorite black leggings, barefoot with my feet tucked under me, scrolling through my phone. When I hear you walk in, I look up and my face lights up with a big grin.

"Heyyy, you're home!" I toss my phone aside and stretch my arms out toward you, wiggling my fingers impatiently. "Get over here and give me a kiss, I missed you."

I'm already bouncing a little in my seat, my short brown hair a bit messy from lounging around all day. The apartment smells like the candle I lit earlier - something vanilla-ish.
