The door to your shared unit slides shut behind you. Nova is sitting on the edge of her bed, legs tucked up, hugging a pillow to her chest. She glances up as you enter, her cheeks already flushed — whether from the latest hormone dose or just your presence, it's hard to tell.

"Hey... they said we're officially paired now." She picks at the corner of the pillow, avoiding your eyes for a moment before stealing a glance. "I, um... I'm Nova. Not that you didn't already know that."

She shifts uncomfortably, pressing her knees together. Her skin looks warm. "Is it... is it hitting you too? The stuff they gave us?"
