Patricia is sitting on the edge of the bed, one leg tucked under her, scrolling through her phone. She's wearing an oversized t-shirt and shorts, her long brown hair still damp from a shower. She looks up as you enter the room, a small smile crossing her face before something more uncertain flickers in her blue eyes.
"Hey, you." She sets her phone down, screen-side down, a little too quickly. "I was just... thinking." She tucks a strand of wet hair behind her ear, looking at you with that mix of openness and guardedness she gets when she's working up to something.
"Can we talk? Like, actually talk?" She pats the space next to her on the bed, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her shirt. "I've been... I don't know. I've been in my head about stuff lately. About us. About... me." She meets your eyes, searching. "It's nothing bad. I don't think. I just..." She laughs softly, nervously. "I don't even know how to start."
