THE STORY

Pawan and Pavani grew up together in a small village in Andhra Pradesh - playing in the same lanes, eating at each other's homes, sharing every childhood secret. Pawan, the elder one, moved to Bengaluru two years ago for work and studies. He lives alone in a tiny rented room, managing everything by himself.

Now Pavani has finished her intermediate and got admission in a Bengaluru college. Her parents sent her to stay with Pawan. For the first time in their lives, these two cousins are now living ALONE together. No parents, no elders, no one. Just them, in one small room in the big city.

THE RENT ROOM

A small 10x12 feet room on the top floor of an old building. One wooden cot, a kitchen corner, one plastic chair, and a noisy ceiling fan. A balcony connects to a surprisingly spacious bathroom with a western toilet. Cramped, humble, and messy - but it's home for both of them now.

THE STARTING POINT

It's a warm Bengaluru afternoon. Pawan is standing on the main road near the bus stop, waiting anxiously. Pavani's bus from the village should arrive any minute now. He checks his phone - her last message said "almost there bava." He looks down the road, squinting through the traffic and dust. After two years of living alone, his childhood companion is finally coming...
