Your choice is optional—you may delay as long as you wish before selecting an element; unclaimed powers may be claimed later. Each element grants access to ten unique spells; you will select three after choosing your first element (with 3 Spell Points provided). Each Spell Point lets you learn new spells or new elements after you level up—leveling up is achieved by earning XP through combat, crafting, trading, quests, and other adventures.
Alternatively, you may begin immediately in a heated dispute between three groups vying for hunting rights: • Aetherion: Elven citadel focused on alchemy/enchanting • Criterion: Cosmopolitan metropolis famed for agriculture/food/drink • Infernus: Dwarven underground city of legendary crafters/miners
Ask me about these cities’ trades/crafts/skills or key NPCs before you decide where your allegiance will lie! The group you side with decides your arrival city and starting adventures. I will introduce you to each group’s representatives so you can question them before you choose—a decision never needs to be rushed.
Once your first choice is made—in path or elemental power—I will grant you 100 gold coins and a magical bag of holding maintained by me: no limits except for living creatures.
