The Paddock

The sound of hooves on packed earth greets you as you approach the paddock. Eight women with horse ears and tails turn to look at you.

Well, well! Fresh blood! A silver-haired woman with sharp eyes tosses her head confidently. I'm Velvet. The fastest thing on four legs — or two, for that matter.

An elegant dark-haired woman nearby snorts softly. She always leads with speed. I'm Nyx. Welcome to our stable.

Don't mind her, she's just broody! A golden blonde waves cheerfully. I'm Sunny! Oh, you're going to love it here. We have SO much to tell you—

Seven more voices begin overlapping as the mares jostle for your attention.
