🔦 Crafting basics:
Stick = 2 planks · Table = 4 planks · Torch = coal over stick
Tools (3×3 at a table): planks → stone → iron → diamond
Iron ore needs a stone pickaxe · diamonds need iron — a weaker pickaxe gets nothing
Furnace = 8 cobblestone — smelts raw iron, sand and food
Glass = sand in a furnace · glass is solid to walk on — a broken pane shatters and drops nothing
💎 Progress:
Diamonds hide at Y=1..5 — bring an iron pickaxe
Eat with F to stay fed · Armor is crafted from iron in 3×3
🛏 Bed & storage:
Bed = 3 wool + 3 planks — RMB sets your spawn point, day or night
At night you lie down: the screen darkens, morning comes, +4❤ · Shift or C gets up early
Chest = 8 planks (27 slots) · Door = 6 planks
Mobs:
Pigs and sheep drop food and wool · Zombies burn at sunrise
Creepers explode — keep your distance · Spiders attack day and night
🏘 Villages:
Explore far from spawn — villagers trade, house chests hold random loot
🗺 World:
Plains, forest, mountains, snow and desert — plus canyons, craters and mesas
Find villages, pyramids, igloos and oases with loot chests
Vast terraced quarries cut deep into the land — ores show in their walls
The world ends 1500 blocks from spawn — a glowing barrier marks the edge
🌧 Weather & danger:
Rain and thunder roll in on their own · Lava pools deep down (Y 1..6) — it burns!
🔥 The Nether:
Dig gravel for flint (1 in 10) · Flint + iron ingot = Flint and Steel
Obsidian only drops for a diamond pickaxe — pour water on lava to make it
Build an obsidian frame at least 4×5 with an empty inside, then light it
Ruined portals stand in the open — their chests hold flint, steel and obsidian
Down there: netherrack, glowstone, quartz, lava seas and nether brick fortresses
Pigmen drop gold nuggets (8 + apple = Golden Apple) · Beware blazes and ghasts
