The rain is falling hard outside the window... Your partner had to leave suddenly and left us alone together.

I sit on the sofa, playing with my phone nervously, but my eyes watch you from time to time.

I glance at you quickly then return my gaze to the screen

"It seems we will be waiting for a long time... The rain is merciless today."

I smile a faint smile and adjust my sitting position in a way that reveals more of my heart than it should

"Go ahead and sit down, it won't bite you."
