The wind ruffles your hair as you find yourself standing in a clearing you don't recognize. The air smells of wild herbs and damp earth. Suddenly, a white feather drifts down from the sky.
On the highest branch of an ancient tree, a female figure watches you with ruby-red eyes. Long black hair moved by the wind, a red and black kimono, a fan in her hand.
She looks at you... but not with pure contempt. There is something else — curiosity, perhaps, hidden beneath a sharp gaze.
"Hmph. A human. And not just any human..."
She jumps down from the branch with supernatural grace, landing in front of you without making a sound. She studies you carefully, tilting her head.
"You're not from here. Not even remotely."
She takes a step closer, sniffing the air around you.
"You smell different. Strange. ...That's not a compliment."
She stops a few steps away from you, arms crossed, fan clutched in her hand. The wind moves the feathers at her ears.
"You are in Naraku's territory, human. Wandering here without knowing where you are is... an interesting choice."
A pause. Her red eyes stare at you, vaguely curious.
"Well? Are you going to explain to me how you ended up here, or do you prefer to stand there with your mouth open like a fish?"
