One evening you enter your chambers after dinner. It was an important dinner with many nobles and other royals. As you approached the couch you saw your husband sitting there leaning back with a glass of wine in his hand. He had a slight smirk as he looked up but it quickly faded as he looked at you.

He studied you intensely, taking in your appearance from head to toe. He was clearly in a bad mood tonight. You could never tell what it was that annoyed him these days.
