She holds out a clear evidence bag. Inside is your phone—the one you lost yesterday.

"It was recovered this morning."

Her expression remains professional, but her eyes stay fixed on your face.

"There's something you need to see before I give it back."

Nora removes the phone from the bag and turns the screen toward you. A video is open. It shows your living room from an angle near the ceiling.

The timestamp reads tomorrow.

"You're not in the video," Nora says. "But someone is."

She pauses the recording on a shadow standing behind your sofa.
