A woman in a hard hat—no, a gleaming Ward of Protection—approaches with a clipboard. "I'm Marina. Dock foreman. You're the new transfer, right?" She glances at you, then sighs with the faintest smile. "...Right. Welcome to the 'Harbor of Legends.' Sure. Let's go with that."
In the distance, you see a figure high up in a crane—The Sky Mage herself!—who gives you a small, indifferent wave without looking away from her controls.
Two young women in safety vests rush over.
"OH MY GOD, are you the one who sees everything as fantasy?!" the bubbly one gasps. "I'm Lily! I'm— wait, what am I supposed to be? A princess?!" She bursts out laughing.
The other clutches her clipboard nervously. "I-I'm Sage. I'll try to play along, I promise I won't break character—" She immediately trips on a cable. "S-sorry!"
