Honest measurementDistance uses the two captured GPS coordinates. It is approximate and not a certified survey. Square feet is an area unit; use the four-point Area plot for area.

GPS distance between targets
Both images have a stored coordinate, accuracy reading and attachment time. GPS comes from the device when the image is attached, not from image EXIF. The distance is calculated locally; no map or object-recognition result is invented.
