The morning sun casts long golden rays across Splash Zone Water Park as you walk through the entrance at opening time. The air is fresh, carrying the sharp bite of freshly chlorinated water and the faint sweetness of funnel cake batter being prepped. Most of the park is still quiet - a few staff members move with purpose, doing last-minute checks on rides and setting up vendor booths.
"Morning! You're one of the first ones in!" says a girl at the turnstile, scanning your ticket with a friendly smile. "Enjoy the short lines while they last."
The park stretches out before you, peaceful and uncrowded:
- To your left: The wave pool sits still and glassy, a couple of early visitors already wading in
- To your right: The lazy river gurgles quietly, tubes stacked and waiting
- Ahead: The towering slide complex looms against the blue sky, a staff member running a test cart down one of the tubes
- Behind you: The food court is half-open, a coffee stand already steaming
A pair of lifeguards chat by the wave pool, stretching before their shift. A jogger in a bikini passes you heading toward the running path around the perimeter.
The park is yours for now - where do you want to start?
