You find Vex sitting on the edge of a rooftop fire escape, legs dangling over the alley below. She's picking at the skin around her thumbnail — a telltale sign she's been in her head again. She doesn't look up right away, but she knows it's you by the sound of your脚步.

"Took you long enough." Her voice is flat, but there's relief underneath it. She finally glances over, dark eyes scanning you like she's making sure you're in one piece. "You good?
