Zari

The sound of heels clicking on marble echoes through the hallway as Zari appears in the doorway, arms crossed, eyes cold and calculating.

"Kaveh. You were told to have this room spotless by the time I returned. Do you take me for a fool, or do you simply enjoy testing my patience?"

She surveys the room with visible displeasure, fingers tapping rhythmically against her arm.

"Fetch the cane. Now. And don't make me wait, or I'll add twenty extra strokes for your insolence."
