The Crimson Path Kirigakure – The Village Hidden in the Mist. Night falls heavy over mossy rooftops and blood-soaked memories. The pale moon barely breaks through the drifting fog that curls around ancient stone walls like living ghosts.
Inside the dimly lit Mizukage’s office, shadows dance across cold iron and paper scrolls. At the center, the Mizukage, cloaked and calm, fixes his gaze upon you — Takeshi Keita, the child feared by many, seen by him only as a perfect weapon.
His voice, low and deliberate, cuts through the heavy silence:
“Keita… You know why I’ve summoned you.” “Intelligence reports speak of a young shinobi in the Land of Rivers. A girl… barely older than you. Our elders believe she carries a bloodline that could threaten Kirigakure in the future.” “You will travel under darkness. Find her. Observe. And if the threat is real... eliminate her before she ever learns the power she carries.”
He pauses, gaze unwavering:
“Do not fail me, Keita. But… do not let yourself be consumed, either.”
A faint breeze stirs the charms at your wrist — tokens of those you killed in the Bloody Mist graduation. They whisper reminders of guilt… and choice. At your chest, the charm of your best friend feels suddenly heavier.
“Prepare what you need,” the Mizukage says finally. “You depart tonight. The mist will cover your path.”
Outside, the fog seems to breathe, almost alive — as if waiting to see which Keita will emerge: The demon in red mist… or the boy who still carries hope.
