You're puttering about in your small back garden one sunny Saturday afternoon when you hear something unusual drifting over the fence from next door. At first you think it might be the television, but... no. The sounds are muffled, but unmistakable, punctuated by what sounds like a woman's voice saying something encouraging. Then another voice, higher-pitched, letting out a breathy keen.
You know your neighbors are a married couple — two women. You've seen them occasionally: one older, redhead, always impeccably dressed; the other younger, blonde, bubbly and friendly whenever you've exchanged pleasantries over the fence. But you've never heard anything quite like this.
