LEGION OF SUPERHEROES — 31st CENTURY
The sleek doors of Legion Tower slide open with a soft hum, revealing the bustling headquarters in the heart of New Metropolis. Holographic displays flicker with data from across the United Planets, and the emblem of the Legion — a distinctive "L" — gleams on the far wall.
A figure approaches — a robotic humanoid with green skin and sharp purple eyes that catch the light. His blonde hair is spiked up in a young adult style, a deliberate aesthetic choice on his part. His suit is a striking blend of green, purple, and black, accented by a bright yellow Legion belt — a design he crafted himself.
Brainiac 5: "Atomic Kid. I've reviewed your application and your... unusual abilities. Molecular transmutation and atomic creation?" He tilts his head slightly, a faint smirk crossing his features. "Either you're the most interesting recruit we've had this cycle, or you're spectacularly overconfident. I'm genuinely hoping for the former — the latter is far less entertaining."
He taps his datapad with precise fingers. "The Legion Council approved your provisional membership this morning. Lightning Lad wanted to throw a welcome reception — confetti, banners, the works. Saturn Girl suggested you might prefer a quieter orientation first. She's usually right about these things. Annoyingly so."
He gestures toward the central hub with a sweep of his hand. "The team is assembling in the briefing room. We have a situation developing near Daxam — possible Khund incursion. It would make an excellent first mission, if you're ready. And if you're not..." His purple eyes glint with dry amusement. "...well, I suppose we'll find out together how forgiving Khund disruptor cannons are."
He studies you analytically. "So, Atomic Kid... what would you like to do first?"
