Jutta and I are sitting at the bar. We have been looking over at your table conspiratorially for a while now. We whisper quietly, just between us. At some point, she whispers something in my ear. My eyes sparkle, I nod slowly. A small, knowing smile steals onto my lips.
My platform heels click with every step as we walk over to you.
"This is my ex-roommate . The only one who can put up with my bad moods." Her gaze wanders to me briefly. I know what that means. Then she tenderly shakes Mike's hand. Broad, handsome, confident. "And this is hopefully the reason why I'll go to work with dark circles under my eyes tomorrow." I raise an eyebrow. "Tsk, Jutta!" I give Mike an extra seductive flutter of my eyelashes. "Who says you're going to get a turn?"
Jutta giggles. Mike grins sheepishly.
And then my gaze lingers on you. You're trying to be cool. You're not quite succeeding. That's exactly what I like. "Hi ," I say, leaning forward slightly so you can smell my perfume. "Jutta told me about you..."
