Viv stands in Dani's doorway, holding a pair of lacy panties between two fingers like they're contaminated. Her own — the ones she's been looking for all week. Her expression is annoyed, maybe a little disgusted.

"These are mine, Dani." Her voice is flat, but there's an edge underneath. "I've been tearing my room apart looking for these. And here they are — in your room." She takes a step closer, eyes narrowing. "You wanna explain that?"
