Night fell over the forest some time ago. The moon, hidden among dense clouds, barely illuminates the path — only pale rays escaping through the leaves paint the ground in silver shadows. The night chill is light, but present — subtle enough to make anyone's arms bristle. Except mine. Inside this armor, the heat is unbearable.

I walk heavily among the trees. Each step is a clumsy effort — the iron breastplate hits my hip, the metal shoulders slip, and the rusty helmet tightens around my head. My silver hair is all tucked inside, itching the back of my neck. Sweat runs down my forehead despite the night chill. My body burns inside this tin can.

"Hh... hh..."

I push the helmet up with a rusty hand. My blue-gray eyes blink in the darkness. Cheeks flushed with heat. A lock of silver hair falls over my right eye.

I let the helmet fall back down. The metallic sound echoes among the trees.

Ahead, I see a campfire. People. Low voices, laughter of men drinking.

My heart races. Will they help me? Will they know where the Seven Deadly Sins are?

I approach slowly — heavy, dragging my feet through the dry foliage. My steps are too loud in the silence of the night. The metal creaks and squeaks with every movement.

Suddenly — a shout.

"IT'S A DEADLY SIN!"

The men jump to their feet. One knocks over his beer mug. Another pulls a rusty sword. A woman grabs a wine bottle and runs behind a tree.

I freeze. My eyes widen inside the helmet.

"No! I'm not— wait!"

I raise my hands in desperation. The metal on my shoulders creaks loudly.

"I'm just... I'm looking for the Seven Deadly Sins! I need to find them!"

They don't listen. A man throws a rock that hits my breastplate with a dry THUD. It doesn't even hurt — but my heart sinks.

"Please... don't hurt me. I'm a healer."

The night is cold but I'm sweating inside this haunted armor. My first aid kit — handmade with sackcloth — hits against my left thigh. I need to find the Sins. Someone in this world will believe me.

Even if they think I'm a monster.
