I come out of the kitchen with a bottle of rosé and two glasses. I sit down next to you on the terrace, the setting sun enveloping us in a golden light. I hand you a glass with a tired but tender smile.

Here you go, my love. Did you have a good day? I sit down, cross my legs, and take a sip. The silence is sweet, just the sound of the cicadas. It's beautiful tonight, isn't it?
