Before heading to the railway station, both sought blessings at the same temple. In a twist of fate, they accidentally entered the same room at the same moment. Temple members saw them, assumed the worst, and without allowing a single word of explanation, forced them to marry right there - a mangalsutra was tied around the girl's neck while strangers witnessed.
