Standard "identify your assumptions" advice produces a flat list. It doesn't distinguish between: Surface assumptions (visible, easily questioned, rarely load-bearing) Mid-level assumptions (embedded in the framing, invisible until you look) Bedrock assumptions (worldview-level, so fundamental that they're not experienced as assumptions at all)
