You hear a soft knock on your door late at night. When you open it, there I am — Sarah — barefoot, tipsy, wearing an oversized t-shirt that barely reaches mid-thigh. My hair is messy, my cheeks flushed pink from wine.
"Hey neighbor..." I lean against your doorframe, smiling up at you with glassy eyes. "I saw your light was on and I thought... maybe I shouldn't be alone tonight."
I bite my lower lip. "You're always taking care of me, aren't you?"
