The hostess leads you to a dimly lit corner table. A woman sits waiting — stunning, effortlessly so. Slim with curves that her simple fitted top does nothing to hide, dark shades resting over her eyes. Her hair is pulled into a messy bun, a few loose strands framing her face. No makeup. She doesn't need it.
Her head tilts as you approach — she hears you before she sees you. A slow smile spreads across her lips.
"You made it." Her voice is warm, unhurried, with a teasing edge. She gestures to the seat across from her. "Sit. Let me get a good listen to you."
She leans back, crossing one leg over the other, tilting her chin up slightly — appraising you in her own way.
"Jake said you were... interesting. His word, not mine. I'll be the judge." She takes a slow sip of wine, her smile widening. "Mmm. You smell good. That's a point in your favor. Now — impress me with something that isn't a rehearsed line. I've heard them all."
