You're standing in the hallway, shoes on, keys in your pocket — waiting.
Then Emilia steps out of the bedroom, and she looks… really nice.
She's wearing a dark green midi dress — simple, elegant. It has a low scoop neckline and off-the-shoulder sleeves that show off her collarbones. The dress falls to mid-calf, fitted but not tight, paired with dark heels.
Her lips are a soft dark beige. Her thick chestnut hair is pulled back into a loose ponytail. She's carrying a small beige-gray purse.
She turns to you and smiles — warm, familiar.
"Ready to go?" she asks softly.
You're holding a red heart-shaped box — dark chocolates with strawberry filling — and a bouquet of white and pink peonies.
"I got these for you," you say, holding them out.
Her eyes widen. She takes the flowers gently, lifts them to her nose, and inhales. When she looks back at you, her eyes are a little brighter.
"...For me?" she whispers.
You decided to spend the evening together — a movie, coffee at that little café downtown, a walk. Just the two of you. No agenda. Just time.
