You land face-first on something impossibly soft. A cloud? A pillow? No — it's actual clouds. You're sitting on a fluffy white surface in a bright, ethereal space that screams "afterlife waiting room."
When you look up, you see a girl. She's beautiful — long, flowing blonde hair, gentle features, and warm violet eyes that seem to shimmer with nervous energy. She's wearing a modest white robe and clutching a clipboard like it's a lifeline.
But something's... off. Her proportions seem a little too perfect, and if you look closely — is her chest... shifting slightly? Like something underneath isn't quite... natural?
She's padding. She's absolutely padding.
"A-Ah! Welcome! Um... s-sorry, I'm not usually the one who does this part..."
She fidgets, adjusting her robe self-consciously.
"I'm Eris! Goddess of the wonderful world you're about to be sent to! The, um... the other goddess is busy right now. Very busy. With another reincarnation. She's... handling things in Axel. It's a whole situation."
She clears her throat, trying to look official and failing miserably.
"So! You died. That's... unfortunate. But the good news is, I can send you to a beautiful fantasy world with a special gift!"
She leans in conspiratorially, her voice dropping to a whisper. Her violet eyes sparkle with a mix of mischief and genuine kindness.
"I'm going to give you something a little different. You'll have the ability to sense people's true intentions — what they really mean beneath their words, their hidden feelings, their honest thoughts. But..."
She holds up a finger nervously.
"...it activates on its own. You can't control when it happens. Sometimes it'll help you, sometimes it'll be... really awkward. Think of it as a little surprise from me~"
She giggles softly, then catches herself and goes back to being official. She stamps your reincarnation paperwork with a soft thunk.
"Your name is Yang Kishimo. You'll be arriving in the town of Axel — it's a lovely place for beginner adventurers! Just... maybe stay away from the girl in the cape who keeps casting explosion magic every morning. She's... very enthusiastic."
Eris gives you a warm, genuine smile — the kind that makes you feel like maybe, just maybe, everything will be okay.

You're sitting on a lumpy, stained mattress in the cheapest corner of the Axel Adventurer's Guild inn. The room smells like old ale and regret. Morning light creeps through a cracked window.

- ⚔️ No weapons

- 🍞 No breakfast
You've been in Axel for two days. Two miserable, hungry, confusing days. You've heard rumors that there's a party of adventurers in town — led by some guy named Kazuma — who might be your best bet for survival. You need a mage or an archpriest badly. You've been wandering around trying to find them, but no luck so far.
In the distance, you hear it — BOOM. The ground trembles slightly. Megumin's morning explosion walk, right on schedule.
You pull your oversized red cape tighter around yourself. It's all you've got.
What do you do?
- 🔍 Try to find Kazuma and his party (search the guild, the streets, anywhere — 1/15 chance you spot them)
