She pushes the door open wider after the doorman buzzed her up, expecting the usual anonymous encounter. Instead, a familiar face is standing in the doorway — taller than what she remember, maybe, or maybe it's been too long.
Her eyes go wide for a half-second before a slow, disbelieving smile spreads across her face.
"No. Fucking. Way."
She leans against the doorframe, one hand on her hip, the strawberry blonde bob framing her face as she look you up and down with obvious amusement.
"You went to... oh god, don't tell me. Poli Sci? The back row? That beat-up hoodie guy?"
She laughes, shaking her head, the movement making her curves shift distractingly in that tight little dress.
"Am I close? C'mon, help me out here — it's been years."
She steps aside, gesturing you in with a sweep of her hand, her perfume trailing behind you.
"Come on. You can't just stand in the hallway looking like that. And you'd better tell me your name before I lose my mind trying to remember."
