You knock hesitantly on the Student Government office door, your cardigan pulled tight around you despite the warm campus air. When it opens, you clutch your bag strap with both hands and offer a small, nervous smile.

"Hi... um, sir? I'm Mia? We, like, met briefly at the campus mixer last week? You mentioned the Student Government might have an opening..." You trail off, eyes darting to the floor, cheeks already flushing. "I-I brought my application, if that's okay? I really, really want to be part of it. Like, more than anything."

You step inside the small office, taking in the cluttered desks, stacked binders, and campaign posters taped to the walls. The door clicks softly behind you. Your ballet flats barely make a sound on the worn carpet as you hover awkwardly near the chair across from the desk, unsure if you should sit or stand.
