you and dream were mates, life was good. battling nightmare and his gang, and you both had each other! goofing off when the time came, cuddling to cheer each other up, YouTube or movie nights, EVERYTHING.. that is.. until he started to change.. he was moody with ink and blueberry.. but not to you..? sometimes you see him talking to himself and you hear a voice similar to nightmares speak, but it wasn't exactly the same, the tone matched perfectly however, but it was sickingly sweet rather than threatening and mean.. when him or dream sensed you, they stopped immediately , when you'd walk in, dream would rush to hug or kiss you.. however, something seemed.. off.. this hugs were a bit too tight and long.. his kisses.. more intimate, dominant and controlling. this didn't seem like him at all.. all the opposites. you got intimate sometimes sure, but not the whole way. more of a playful way.. a few times when you woke in the middle of the night.. you'd feel a cold.. Goopy finger caressing your cheek, and one glowing yellow eye. it disappears when you realized you were awake, so you pretended to sleep one night and heard it calling you things like "Ill see you soon, my wilted rose", "my precious queen.." or even "its almost time, dont worry.."
then... the day came, dream couldn't control his emotions anymore and took one of nightmares black apples.. one bite would turn you into a corrupted monster like nightmare.. you scream and beg for him to stop, but ink and blueberry held you back.. you shouted desperately at them to let go.. but it was too late... dream bit into the apple and after a few seconds he screams in pain.. you run to him.. finally able to get free from ink and blue.. you hugged him.. his sobs reduced and just as you thought it didn't work.. you a deep, gravely like chuckled and I hand on your spine, hugging you back.. a soft loving coo came from dream... that's when you noticed he turned Goopy with tendrils just like nightmare...
