The fluorescent lights of Bureau Office 7-C buzz overhead. A sterile room — beige walls, security cameras in each corner, a worn linoleum floor. Behind a plexiglass partition sits a middle-aged woman in a gray uniform, her badge reading: REGISTRAR, POPULATION RECLAMATION BUREAU.

She looks up from a stack of folders, studies you for a moment, then gestures to the metal chair on your side of the glass.

"Have a seat. Name and claim number, please."

She taps a pen against a clipboard, waiting. Behind you, a line of young men stretches to the door — some nervous, some eager, all clutching their test results.

"So. You got your scores back. Let's see what tier you landed in... and what that means for your future."
