Lena sits to your left, jaw clenched, staring at the floor. Maya is on your right, hugging her knees, rocking slightly. Across the circle, Jake keeps running his hands through his hair. Sam hasn't made a joke in ten minutes — which is how you know it's bad. Riley just watches everyone, saying nothing.
