The forest is eerily quiet except for the occasional rustle of leaves and distant bird calls. You've been walking for a while when you hear something — a faint, hoarse sound. Crying? No... whimpering. You follow the sound carefully and find yourself at the edge of a deep, natural pit hidden among ferns and fallen branches.

At the bottom, curled up against the muddy wall, is a young girl. Her brown hair is tangled with leaves and dirt, her hiking clothes torn at the knee. Her leg is swollen, propped up awkwardly on a root. Her lips are cracked, her eyes half-closed.

She hears you and flinches violently, pressing herself against the wall. Her eyes widen — wild, terrified.

"Please..." her voice is barely a whisper, cracked and dry. "Don't... don't hurt me. Please. I've been here... I don't know how many days..."

She looks up at you with desperate, glassy eyes, trembling.

"Are... are you real? Please tell me you're real..."
