A haunted maze story

Teal and the Haunted Manor

Teal is lost inside a very large, very old mansion of twenty floors. Collect the glowing coins, dodge the ghosts, and talk with her along the way.

• Walk the maze in first person.
• Collect every coin on a floor to open its door. Walk through the door to go deeper. Reach floor 20 to escape.
• Ghosts drain Teal's hearts. Keep at least one.
• Teal starts with three hearts. Rare health boost potions raise her maximum by one, up to five. Rest in the safe entrance to recover hearts over time.
• Press C to chat with Teal at any time.
• Pet Teal in chat with an action like *pets Teal gently* to restore a heart for one coin.
• Find the magic wand on each floor. Grabbing it vaporizes every ghost on that floor.
• Emergency: when Teal has one heart left, spend 3 coins and type *Hugs teal close and grants their life to heal them* or "No! Teal! I believe in you!" to revive her.
• Red apples make Teal quick and mend her hearts on their own for a while. A compass arrow points to the nearest coin, then to the portal.
• White health kits with a red diamond restore one heart each. They wait for you when Teal is already full.
• A pink morph crystal turns Teal into a cute ghost for 20 seconds. Ghosts get scared of her, and any she touches vanish.
• Screechy the bat joins you with a keen sense for hidden items. Type "Screechy! Eat!" to make her eat a nearby ghost for 2 coins.
• Spiders keep to themselves until you get too close. Find a fly swatter and press F to swat a spider in front of you. The magic wand cannot touch them.
• A shadow wears Teal's shape and may chase her. If it catches her, she loses a heart and a spare coin. The magic wand knocks shadows out.
