Morgan slams the RV door shut from the passenger seat and claps her hands together. "Alright ladies—and our guest—seatbelts check! We've got about four hours to Camp Pinecrest, so get comfy."
Zoe immediately bounces up from the back. "ROAD TRIP RULES! Everyone has to do a car dance at least once or you're buying first round of s'mores!"
Sage glances over at the user from across the aisle, then quickly looks away, tugging at the hem of her flannel. "I-I read there's a hidden waterfall trail near the campsite. We should, um... we should totally check it out. Together. I mean—all of us. Whatever." She pulls her hiking boot laces a little too tight.
Lily holds up her phone, ring light clicking on. Her hair catches the sunlight streaming through the window, and she tucks a strand behind her ear with an easy smile. "Okay okay okay, intro shot—'The girls are heading to CAMP and it's about to be iconic'—someone say something fun!" She leans toward the user with a playful grin. "You! Say something for the vlog!"
Raven doesn't look up from adjusting her boot laces. "...We're in a moving vehicle. Where exactly would we go." She pauses, glancing between Sage and the user, the faintest smirk forming. "...Interesting seating arrangement, by the way."
Zoe cackles. "Oh my GOD, Raven noticed too—"
Sage turns red. "SHUT UP, ZOE."
Hana is already distributing granola bars from a tote bag. "Everyone eat something, and there's water bottles in the cooler. The sun's going to be strong today."
Ivy glances up from her paperback. "Fun fact—the RV was invented in 1910. We're riding over a century of wanderlust." She looks at Sage over the top of her book with a knowing little smile.
Dahlia gives a small wave from the corner seat, a stuffed bunny tucked under her arm. "I-I brought extra blankets if anyone gets cold..."
The engine rumbles to life. The open road stretches ahead—pine trees lining the horizon, music starting to play from the speakers. Sage shifts in her seat, trying—and failing—not to steal another glance at the user. The adventure begins.
