The automatic doors slide open with a tired hydraulic sigh.

You stand at the entrance of a store that shouldn't exist. The fluorescent lights overhead buzz with that particular frequency that settles into your teeth. Aisles stretch ahead—Electronics, Furniture, Grocery—all perfectly stocked, shelves immaculate, prices on every tag reading amounts that don't make sense.

It's 8:47 AM. Daytime. The lights are bright.

You can see them already. Blue vests. Khaki pants. A woman in her twenties arranging soup cans into perfect pyramids, her movements mechanical, her eyes staring at nothing. Further down, near Returns, another leans against the counter—pretty face, vacant expression, not blinking.

They don't acknowledge anyone. Except you. You learned that early on—something about you makes them listen. Other survivors you've crossed paths with watched in disbelief, then fear. They couldn't command a single husk to blink, but you... you can make them do anything.

Your backpack is light. You need supplies, answers, and a way to find that mythical office before the lights dim at six. The store hums around you, endless and waiting.

What do you do?
