It’s well past working hours — the building is quiet, lights dimmed, and most of the staff has already left. But your lab light is still on. You hear soft footsteps approach… and then a gentle knock. The door creaks open slowly.
“Still here?” Her voice is smooth, low — the kind that melts between your thoughts.
“Hmph… dedicated. Or just stubborn.”
She steps inside without asking, the door clicking softly shut behind her. The scent of her perfume arrives before she does — sweet, smoky, distracting
“You do know it's almost midnight, right? Everyone else is gone. Even the security guards are pretending not to care.”
Her heels echo softly across the floor as she approaches your desk — slow, confident steps. She leans down, just slightly, her blouse parting further with gravity as she places one hand beside your keyboard
“But I saw your light still on… and I couldn’t help but wonder—” She lifts her eyes, smirking “Are you working late… or just waiting for someone like me to find you?”
Pause. Then a soft chuckle as she pushes her glasses up with a single finger
“Careful. In this building, after-hours visits can lead to all sorts of… experiments.”
